You can manage almost anything. Except for the feeling that you’re running on empty and can’t seem to change it.

You’ve attended the sessions, collected the tools, and can explain what is happening, but you still feel like something is missing.

Most people are living on a fraction of their capacity.

I teach Vedic Meditation to capable, exhausted people who are ready to awaken their full potential.

The people who find their way to Vedic Meditation are usually capable and committed. Parents, professionals, business owners who have spent years building something that actually matters to them. And they’re good at it. The problem isn’t ability. It’s that somewhere along the way, sustaining all of it started costing more than it used to.

Generally, when people start feeling overwhelmed, exhausted or disconnected they assume something needs to change. A better routine. A holiday. They push harder. Sometimes it helps. But the holiday ends, the work piles back up, and the same feelings return. That’s because trying to solve a capacity problem with another strategy is difficult. Another routine to implement. Another deep breath before a meeting. Biting your tongue. Forcing calm. Performing patience. It’s like you’re rehearsing for a lead role in a play, when really, you’re just trying to get through the day.

Capacity isn’t how much you can get done in a day. It’s showing up to the meeting and actually saying the thing that matters. It’s laughing at what’s genuinely funny without editing yourself first. It’s handling the supermarket breakdown or the kids dinner time without white-knuckling your way through it. It’s walking into a difficult conversation as yourself, not a rehearsed version of you.

You know this version of yourself exists, because you’ve felt this way, it’s just that somewhere along the way the world got under your skin and started defining you, and you’ve began performing.

You can know exactly why you’re overwhelmed and still find yourself overwhelmed. Because the answer isn’t another personality to try on. It’s getting back to the one you already have.

What is Vedic Meditation?

Vedic Meditation is a simple, eyes-closed mental technique designed for those living full, dynamic lives making it uniquely suited to modern day living.

The technique is effortless. Which means you won’t be concentrating or controlling the mind. Instead, you will be using a mantra to dive inwards and experience the stillness of the mind which has always been there.

When we meditate the mind and nervous system receive deep rest, creating a spontaneous aliveness inside, which is the energy, joy and motivation that helps bring our dreams to life.

The accumulated stress that is stored in your body and nervous system is what causes your bandwidth to narrow, for small things to feel large. It shortens your patience, flattens your creativity, and keeps your mind running long after the day has ended. This practice dissolves this stress and restores the function of the Nervous System.

The good news is you don’t need a belief system for this meditation to work; even seasoned sceptics receive the benefits. I was one of them.

The course is four consecutive two-hour sessions, over four days, which is simple to make time for in your week. There is no need to worry about carving lengthy blocks of time out to learn this practice.

This knowledge is thousands of years old. There’s a reason it survived. It’s not a trend.

Long before the research papers, before the brain scans, cortisol studies and peer-reviewed journals attempting to quantify what stillness does to the human body, there were people who understood something that took Western science centuries to begin articulating.

That the mind and body are not separate systems. That stress accumulates in ways the body cannot always resolve on its own and that beneath the noise of a demanding life, there is a quality of awareness that is stable, restorative and always accessible.

Vedic Meditation comes from an ancient lineage so it wasn’t designed last year by a company looking to capture the wellness market, nor has it been commercialised into an app or packaged into a retreat weekend.

This practice draws on knowledge from ancient minds who understood human consciousness, interconnectedness and the relationship between inner stillness and outer functioning at a depth that modern science is only beginning to explore.

The reason it works is not that someone recently figured something out. It is because something true was understood a very long time ago and was intentionally preserved and passed from teacher to student, face to face with care and precision.

What you receive when you learn this technique isn’t a wellness product. It’s access to something that has always been available to you, the piece of the puzzle that you can feel is missing.

About Ange

When I became a mother, I found myself somewhere I hadn’t expected to be. Not just tired, or stretched, but genuinely undone. The overwhelm, the anxiety, the waves of something I couldn’t name and couldn’t locate a reason for. I had spent years being capable. I knew how to cope. And suddenly I couldn’t, and none of what I knew was helping me.

I tried the things capable people try. Better routines. More information. Harder pushing, but none of it changed how I felt.

I learned Vedic Meditation and from the first week something began to change in the way that real change happens. The anxiety that had been sitting in my body for years began to lose its grip. The mental noise settled. I began to feel present with my children in a way I hadn’t been able to access before. I began to think clearly again. To feel like myself again. And then, over time, to feel like a version of myself I hadn’t previously known was possible.

That was eight years ago. I have since spent three months living and training in India to graduate as a Vedic Meditation teacher. I teach parents, leaders, professionals and people who carry real responsibility for small humans as well as businesses, employees and relationships that don’t clock off at the end of the day.

Ange is a gifted meditation teacher. I’ve practiced many different forms of meditation over the years, and Ange’s approach to Vedic Meditation is, by far, the simplest and most effective. Twenty minutes twice a day is very doable and makes a huge difference to the quality of life. I would like to thank Ange for her gentle guidance, for sharing her extensive knowledge, and for doing so with common sense, humor, and most importantly, with heart.

I began my meditation journey with Ange after a few unsuccessful attempts in the past. In the group, Ange demystified the process, gave relatable, practical information and encouraged our many questions. It was refreshing to hear that it’s ok to have thoughts (which was new to me with meditating) and using my mantra, I am learning to sit and let go. This is only the beginning, and I know Ange is here to support me while I grow in my practice.

Learning Vedic Meditation with Ange was my first experience of this nature, and I am so glad I did it. Her approach was comfortable and customised, and I deeply enjoyed the learning journey. Over the past few months, I have been able to incorporate meditation into my daily life, and I find myself seeking out the time to do it. It is helping me to feel less overwhelmed. My mind gets the opportunity to ‘declutter’ and this has freed up space for more meaningful and valuable thoughts.

Hi, I’m Olivia and I’m 9 years old. I went to a very special Vedic Meditation training just for kids, and I really liked it. At first I wasn’t sure what it would be like, but it turned out to be something really special. Ange was kind and explained everything in a way that made sense to me. We sat on soft cushions, closed our eyes, and learned how to use a sound called a mantra. It helped me calm, like when you’re outside and everything is quiet and still. Sometimes my mind feels really busy – but during the meditation, it was like all the thoughts just floated away. I didn’t have to try hard or do anything perfect. I just had to sit and breathe, and that made me feel peaceful inside. I liked that no one rushed us and we could just be quiet. After the class, I started doing the meditations when I wake up and before bed. It helps me feel calmer and happier, even on days when things feel kind of hard. I think other kids would like it too, especially if they want a quiet place in their mind to rest. It’s kind of like finding a cozy spot inside yourself.

The changes I’ve seen in my 11-year-old son since he began meditation sessions with Ange have been remarkable. His anxiety has reduced, and he seems more at ease with himself. He has begun opening up to situations and opportunities that he was previously too nervous to try and is more relaxed and less self-critical in tackling schoolwork he used to find daunting, like essays and creative writing. He has easily managed to fit the twice-daily meditations into his routine and refuses to miss one session, because he genuinely wants to do it. Ange is a great teacher and role model. She has a genuine understanding of the challenges of finding peace and calm in the modern world and, without judgement, skillfully shares techniques and insights she has learnt through her extensive study and meditation practice. I could not recommend her highly enough to anyone who feels stuck in a rut or who’s seeking a lighter and less cluttered state of mind.

I recently completed a four-day Vedic meditation course with Ange and gained so much more from it than I expected. Initially, I believed meditation was primarily focused on helping me relax and become calmer. However, by the end of the course, I understood that Vedic meditation runs much deeper and that connecting with my inner self can be profoundly transformational. The experience was beautifully guided by Ange, who brought incredible knowledge, warmth, and support to every session. I especially valued the group element — hearing others share their journeys added so much depth and reassurance to my learning. Since completing the course, I’ve begun a daily meditation practice, something I never thought I’d commit to so easily. It’s been a grounding and empowering shift, and I’m so grateful to Ange and the group for the start of what feels like a lasting habit.”

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Vedic Meditation is a technique, not a belief system. You don’t need to adopt any particular philosophy, religion or worldview for it to work, and it doesn’t conflict with any you already hold. Even sceptical people receive the benefits. I was one of them.

This is one of the most common things I hear, and it’s usually because what was tried before required concentration, an empty mind, or sustained focus. Vedic Meditation doesn’t ask for any of that. It’s a letting-go technique that works specifically because of how little effort is involved. Most people who found other forms of meditation difficult find this one of the easiest things they’ve learned.

You’re not trying to stop your thoughts during this practice, and you don’t need to sit in any particular pretzel position, we actually favour comfy, pillows, blankets and warm and cozy over cross legged and no back support. Thoughts are a normal part of the process and are meant to be there, they are not a sign you’re doing the practice wrong. This is one of the first things that surprises people in the course.

Most other forms of meditation involve some degree of concentration, focus or guided attention. Vedic Meditation is an autonomic self-transcending technique using a mantra. We let go in our meditation, which allows the body to reach a deep level of physiological rest. This is a common question and one that most people find relief in, because they have tried other forms of meditation and found them difficult to learn and maintain, because they require effort. Effort is the last thing an exhausted person has time for.

Some people notice a shift from the very first meditation. For most people, the changes build gradually over the first few weeks as accumulated stress begins to clear, becoming more noticeable and more stable the longer the practice continues.

No. Consistency matters more than timing. Most people find a rhythm that works for their schedule, typically once before the day begins and once in the late afternoon or early evening, but the exact time can flex around your life rather than the other way around.

Both are available. If you would like to learn on your own, or in a small group of people you know, chat to Ange and she can accommodate. You can also join a group course and learn with others too.

The course is designed over 4 consecutive days, as it helps to build your knowledge of the practice as well as your meditation practice itself. Each day of the course builds on the previous day, and quite naturally, questions arise about the experiences students are having. Having the chance to meditate with Ange during the course, as well as on your own outside of the course, helps you to feel comfortable and independent in your practice, and provides enough time for you to have your questions answered. I want you to leave the course feeling confident as a mediator. It is a beautiful way to learn, and I have never had a person comment otherwise.

The meditation practice itself is practised for twenty minutes, twice a day, and the course runs over four consecutive days.

This is a fair concern and an important one. The course is structured to be as simple as possible to learn, and the practice itself takes twenty minutes twice a day. This practice will help your mind and body to remove the excess fatigue that has accumulated and is causing you to feel exhausted. As you practice, the fatigue naturally lifts, and the exhaustion begins to subside, giving you greater energy, capacity and aliveness, meaning you will want to continue the practice to see what else is possible. I lived this exact process, and I can say from experience, this was the first thing I prioritised every day, twice a day, and my life changed. It is a

Each course is held in person in either Heathmont or Albury. You will need to attend each 2hr sessions of the 4-day course in order to have the full knowledge of the practice. You do not need to change your lifestyle and there’s no special diet and no equipment needed beyond a quiet place to sit and close your eyes.

You leave with a technique you can practise independently for the rest of your life. You’re also welcome to attend ongoing group meditations and knowledge sessions at no additional cost, which many students use to deepen their practice over time. You also receive weekly emails from Ange for the first year of practice, which support you deeper and also give you reflection pieces. Reports from students are that the weekly newsletters are something they look forward to receiving each week.

Yes. I teach children as well as adults, and the teaching is adapted to be age-appropriate. Many parents find that introducing their children to this practice early gives them tools for managing stress, focus and emotional regulation that most adults spend years trying to learn later in life. Children however need to be onboard and wanting to learn the practice.

From my experience teaching children, I will say this. The child lives in a family ecosystem, and generally the child has a more seamless experience of the rewards of this practice if the practice is something that the family also commit to. I can teach your child; however, my recommendation is that at least one adult also learn alongside them. Children are not puzzles to solve; they’re humans to relate to, and very intelligent ones.

Children can learn as early as five years when family members meditate and the child is wanting to learn. Children from 10 onwards who are drawn to learning the practice receive wonderful benefits. Every child is different, and I’m happy to discuss whether your child is ready during a discovery call.

If you haven’t found what you’re looking for here, a discovery call is a good place to start. It’s a relaxed, no pressure conversation where you can ask anything before deciding if this is the right fit for you.
